TRR 266 Paper receives European Acccounting Review Best Paper Award 2023

The European Accounting Review has awarded the TRR 266 paper “The Tax Complexity Index — A Survey-Based Country Measure of Tax Code and Framework Complexity” with the 2023 EAR Best Paper Award. Congratulations to the authors Thomas Hoppe, Deborah Schanz, Susann Sturm and Caren Sureth-Sloane!

Participating Institutions

TRR 266‘s main locations are Paderborn University (Coordinating University), HU Berlin, and University of Mannheim. All three locations have been centers for accounting and tax research for many years. They are joined by researchers from LMU Munich, Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Goethe University Frankfurt, University of Cologne and Leibniz University Hannover who share the same research agenda.
